When you’re looking for a new vehicle, the Chevy has several different types of compacts that you’ll love. Here are a few of the different kinds so you can see what will work best for you.
Chevy Sonic
The Chevy Sonic may be small, but it doesn’t act like it. It was originally called the Chevy Aveo and was the company’s leading compact car until it became the Sonic in 2011. It’s one of the most affordable models in the Chevy brand, starting at $15,295. The Sonic has a maximum cargo volume of 47.7 cubic feet, passengers don’t have to sacrifice their comfort when riding in the car. There’s also plenty of room for all your belongings. Up to five passengers can fit comfortably in the Chevy Sonic.
Chevy Spark
The Chevy Spark gets excellent fuel economy ratings and outranks the other compact models in this line. It has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon in the city and 39 miles per gallon on the highway. The Spark has 94 pounds-feet of torque and a horsepower rating of 98. At a starting price of $13,050, this is affordable for many people.
It fits four people total, which is perfect for small families who don’t want a large car. There are plenty of storage nooks available and when the back seats fold down, 27.2 cubic feet of cargo space opens up to store your belongings. There are also available leather seats that are heated to provide customers even more comfort.
Chevy Cruze
The Chevy Cruze has a new Infotainment 3 system, which has a 7.0-inch touch screen that responds to touch and swiping movements. Some trims have navigation that will store user profiles in the cloud and load them when they go to use it later. You can also transfer the driver’s home screen, saved destinations, audio presets, and contacts into any Chevy that’s compatible. Live traffic and wireless software updates are included so you’ll never get lost when you’re driving. There’s also automated emergency braking that has pedestrian detection as well as automatic climate control.
Chevrolet Impala
Starting at $27,895, this is one of the more expensive compact cars in the line, but there are many reasons why it’s worth it. It has a contoured, athletic exterior with woodgrain and chrome accents inside to give the driver an elegant setting to drive in. There’s seating for up to five people, so plenty of people can join you for the ride. Passengers will enjoy connecting to the internet with 4G LTE Wi-Fi.
An 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touch-screen display allows you to play music, receive or send texts, and more. Apple CarPlay allows your iPhone to connect to your playlist, apps, iMessages, and more. Androids can connect to the system to access your playlists, calendar, and Google Maps.
