Empty Country Road | Burien Chevrolet in Burien, WAFor heading out on a long road trip with your family or a group of friends, the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban is the ideal vehicle. It features a spacious and luxurious interior with seating for nine people and a huge amount of cargo. You have a choice of LS, LT, and Premier trim levels, and two powerful engines that offer superior towing capacity. Here are some of the Suburban’s great features:

Interior Comfort and Space

Inside the Suburban, you’ll find high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Even with a full complement of nine passengers, you have 39.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Versatile seating configurations enable you to optimize your passenger and cargo capacity. With the second and third rows folded flat, the Suburban provides a cavernous 121.7 cubic feet of cargo space.

For added convenience, Premier models offer power folding second- and third-row seats. For easy access to the cargo area, there is also a hands-free programmable liftgate. The seats are wide and supportive for comfort on a long journey. The LT has leather upholstery, while the Premier adds heated and ventilated front seats and heated second-row bucket seats.

Even before you enter the vehicle, the standard remote start activates the tri-zone climate control to cool or heat the interior to your preferred temperature. On the road, you can maintain the ideal climate.

Driver Assist Technology

Electronic stability control and traction control help to keep you on track. The 4.2-inch or optional 8-inch driver information center is customizable and displays vehicle information. Cruise control makes for relaxing highway driving. The LT trim adds lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and forward low-speed automatic braking. The Premier trim adds rear cross-traffic alert.

Power and Performance

The standard engine is a 5.3-liter V-8, delivering 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque to the rear or all four wheels via a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. You can opt for a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Both engines feature cylinder-deactivation technology for better fuel economy.

For highway driving, the Suburban will return up to 22 mpg and, when equipped with the Max Trailering Package, has a maximum towing capacity of 8,300 pounds. The Premium Smooth Ride suspension irons out the bumps, while the ride is enhanced in Premier models by Magnetic ride Control.

Infotainment

To keep your passengers connected and entertained on the road, the Chevrolet infotainment system features an 8-inch touch screen, smartphone integration, six-speaker audio, Bluetooth for music streaming and hands-free calling, voice activation for radio and phone, an auxiliary jack and five USB ports.

For charging devices, there are four 12-volt power outlets and a 110-volt outlet. The LT has a nine-speaker Bose audio system, while the Premier adds a Bose 10-speaker surround sound system. An optional rear-seat entertainment system offers a 9-inch second-row screen and a Blu-ray player.
