A Hybrid Model
Another nice thing about the new 2018 Malibu is that it is available as a hybrid. With the hybrid you get a 1.8-liter hybrid DOHC four-cylinder engine with a hybrid propulsion system and variable valve timing.
The hybrid trim level offers the same luxury interiors as the LT trim level, but it comes with its own instrument cluster designed specifically for the hybrid. It shows you everything that is happening with the batter and the engine and how much mileage is remaining.
Spacious and Comfortable Interior
The 2018 Malibu is more spacious than ever. It offers some of the best head and legroom of any vehicle in its class. It comfortably seats five adults and even offers an available dual climate control system so that everyone can enjoy a temperature that makes them comfortable.
Other available interior features include heated front seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a Bose premium 9-speaker surround sound system. You can also opt for the latest version of the Chevrolet MyLink system which offers a built-in navigation system, a color touchscreen for managing your entertainment system, and Bluetooth connectivity so that you can wirelessly connect your smartphone to your Malibu.
Safety Features
The new Chevrolet Malibu comes packed with safety features that will help put your mind at ease each time you get behind the wheel. All Malibu vehicles come standard with a comprehensive airbag system. They are all made with high-strength steel safety cages for protection in the event of a collision.
Every Chevrolet Malibu also comes standard with an OnStar Guidance Plan which offers crisis assist, emergency services, and roadside assistance. The OnStar system also automatically connects you to an operator when it senses that you’ve been in a collision.
