The State of Washington is sending five of its best athletes to the 2022 Bejing Winter Olympics that start February 2 (the opening ceremony is February 4).
Here’s a list of local athletes to look out and cheer for at the Winter Olympics starting next week:
- Novie McCabe of Winthrop in Women’s Cross-Country Skiing
- Jean-Luc Baker of Edmonds in Ice Dance
- Eunice Lee of Bellevue in Women’s Short Track Speed Skating
- Corinne Stoddard of Tacoma in Women’s Short Track Speed Skating
- Katie Hensien of Redmond in Women’s Alpine Skiing
