2020 Chevrolet Trax

The Silverado 3500 is offered in Work Truck (WT), LT, LTZ, and High Country models. You can opt for a regular cab with an 8-foot bed, or a double cab or crew cab with a 6.75-foot bed or the long bed. With its higher cab, bold new styling, and model-specific grille design, the 3500HD dominates the road.

WT models feature distinctive daytime running lamps, extending trailering mirrors, 17-inch steel wheels, and a bed with 12 cargo tie-downs. LT trims offer remote keyless entry, power-adjustable mirrors, alloy wheels, an EZ-lift and lower tailgate, and rear privacy glass.

The LTZ trim has LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, automatic-dimming power-folding mirrors, 18-inch wheels, signature LED taillights, a power locking tailgate, and a 120-volt power point. High Country models add chrome side steps, 20-inch wheels, LED cargo box lighting, a power tailgate, spray-on bedliner, and a power sliding rear windshield.

Newly introduced for 2020 is a 401 horsepower 6.6-liter V-8 engine that delivers a best-in-class standard torque of 464 pound-feet. It's mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Alternatively, you can opt for a powerful 6.6-liter V-8 turbo-diesel engine that generates 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque via an all-new, almost seamlessly shifting, 10-speed automatic transmission.

All-wheel drive is optional, and you can choose from single (SRW) or double (DRW) rear wheel axles. When equipped with the gas engine and SRW, the 3500HD has a payload of up to 4,534 pounds. Adding DRW increases that to 7,442 pounds and gives you a maximum towing capacity of 17,200 pounds. The turbo-diesel provides an awesome maximum gooseneck towing capacity of 35,500 pounds.

The cabin of the WT offers heavy-duty vinyl seating, a 3.5-inch cluster display, a rear camera with hitch guidance, and a multimedia system with smartphone integration, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch touch screen. LT models add fabric seating, cruise control, a 4.2-inch cluster display, a 4G Wi-Fi hot spot, and an 8-inch touch screen.

LTZ trims feature remote keyless ignition, perforated leather seating, heated front seats, driver's seat and side mirror memory function, dual-zone automatic temperature control, a heated steering wheel, HD and satellite radio, and voice command. The High Country has cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, an 8-inch cluster display, a seven-speaker Bose sound system, and navigation.

Standard on the Silverado 3500HD are traction control, electronic stability control, trailer sway control, hill start assist, brake assist, a rearview camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The High Country adds front and rear parking sensors, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, and rear cross-traffic warning.

Depending on the model, available safety features include automatic emergency braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, trailer tire pressure and temperature sensors, a safety alert seat, and a trailer camera system with up to 15 different views.
