Trim Levels (Exterior)
There are six trims available for the 2020 Chevy Blazer: L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. As you check out your new SUV, take a look at the tires. There are standard 18-inch bright silver aluminum wheels on the L, 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. The RS uses 20-inch dark android machine-face aluminum wheels. You can upgrade to a 21-inch wheel with a gloss black finish. The Premier uses 20-inch medium android machine-face aluminum wheels. You can upgrade these to 21-inch wheels with a pearl nickel finish.
Engine (Power)
The 2020 Chevy Blazer uses one of three different engines depending on which trim you own. The L and 1LT use a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine with variable valve timing and spark ignition direct injection. It generates 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. The 2LT and 3LT step up the power to a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine. It creates an estimated 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The Premier and RS use a powerful 3.6-liter V-6 block that produces 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also available as an upgrade on the 2LT and 3LT.
Performance
When it comes to performance, the Blazer is ready for anything. All of the trims are front-wheel-drive vehicles. All-wheel-drive is available for everything except the L and 1LT. If you chose the 3.6-liter V-6 engine, you could tow up to 4,500 pounds with the proper equipment.
Interior
As you settle into your new SUV, you'll find a comfortable interior ready for anything. Heated front seats are available in the 1LT and 2LT. They are standard in the 3LT, Premier, and RS. The seats are cloth in the L, 1LT, and 2LT. They upgrade to perforated leather-appointed surfaces in the other trims. The Chevrolet Infotainment3 system comes in all of the trims and lets you connect with either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. There are two USB ports in the vehicle, one type A and one type C to keep your devices charged. The Premier adds an SD card slot to the USB ports for more entertainment options. You can also use Bluetooth to stream music or voice commands to make hands-free phone calls. You can also keep your backseat passengers occupied with a DVD entertainment system available on all of the trims except the L.
Safety Features
Your new Chevy Blazer includes a variety of safety features, including a standard rear-seat reminder. If you open and close the back door just before you leave, it will remind you to check the back seat when you arrive at your destination. Let young drivers learn in confidence with the included Teen Driver safety features. It lets you set specific limits, such as the speed or volume controls for new drivers. You can also monitor and discuss their driving habits using the vehicle-generated report card.
