<p>There are four trim levels: WT, LT, LTZ, and High Country. Each trim comes in four different body types: double cab standard, double cab long box, crew cab standard, and crew cab long box. The 2500HD can also be configured for two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive and offers three different engine types.</p> <p>Standard equipment for the Silverado 2500HD includes Chevrolet's popular infotainment system and several connected services to help with productivity. Engine
<p>There is no scarcity of muscle when deciding which engine you want for your new Silverado. The 6.0L Vortec V-8 delivers 350 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, and its variable valve timing feature optimizes the engine for high-end performance and low-end torque. Chevrolet's 6.0L V-8 CNG/LPG can burn gasoline, compressed natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas.</p> <p>The Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel V-8 comes with a dynamic torque-based engine that delivers 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The engine must be matched with the available Alison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission. Even with all this power, the new Duramax engine is smoother and quieter than previous models.</p>
Performance
The new Silverado 2500HD has immense towing and hauling capacities. The tow rating for the Silverado 2500HD stands at 14,400 pounds, and its payload capability is 3,301 pounds. Available options can change these numbers if you need more muscle. If you opt for the turbo-diesel engine, 910 pound-feet of torque is delivered at just 1600 rpm. Few trucks can match this type of hauling and towing power.
Interior
<p>Chevrolet's advanced infotainment system is standard on the Silverado 2500HD. Pair your smartphone with available Bluetooth technology for voice-activated convenience. Cruise control is synced with StabiliTrak, so the system will disengage to reduce wheel spin on wet surfaces.</p> <p>Silverado's High Country trim offers complete occupant safety and comfort.
